Thought it was possible the line would move towards Tampa when I bet the overnight line. So I've added a bunch more to make this a total of 10 units risked.
I am beyond confident on this pick. It looks like I'm chasing losses here going double on my 5-unit max normal.
I don't do this often... in fact I believe last time I did it was earlier in the regular season before the pandemic, on Boston but they were a huge favorite that game and lost.... I'm not going to dig it up now, but its in this thread and just came back to memory. Sounds kinda like the recipe for another disaster! Nah... this wins tonight and let's say pays me back the previous 10-unit loss on this same side.

I'm not gonna financially break myself but that game was supposed to be a sure thing.
I've sucked 2 years now on NHL. All documented here. Maybe I haven't adapted with the game.

Mike I know what you are saying, but I'm decent on 2-leg parlays, plus I don't do a lot of parlays.
Also, the line on any given game doesn't necessarily reflect probability of the team to win that game.
Some of my handicapping methods could be considered unorthodox. I used the same info for Thursday night as I did for the Monday and Wed losses. Only difference for Thursday - I faded that info for a change.... couldn't let them fool me a third time !!

Disclaimer: This is partially a hedge play on my Vancouver futures tickets AND I'm very torn on this game, making more than one case for each team. So default fallback on logic. Vegas is the better team with the stronger players. The back-to-back is harder on the Vancouver position players for the style of game they play.
If we look ahead to the Conference championships round, who will be the Final Four teams? We already know 2 of them: Dallas and Tampa Bay. Two of the best in the league. Vancouver doesn't fit in the same group, Vegas does.Comment -

Watching that effort in Game 7 was more disappointing than losing the bets.
Islanders played better for the whole series and deserve to advance. I believed the Flyers had the secret recipe, rather than believing my eyes.
I'm a hockey fan. It was a good series through 6 games. Game 7 was a dud, one team had no energy in a high-stakes playoff game on NBC national TV. The winning team did come to play, so props to them.
Probably could say the same about the Vegas/Vancouver game 7 but that was more acceptable in my eyes to see one team with a lack of effort as a back-to-back game due to poor scheduling.
I guess everyone can say the virus is their scapegoat this year for everything.
Anyway, even if I would've had winning tickets on the Islanders tonight, the game was still disgusting for a game 7Comment -
