SBR 128 Man Round 1: Scratch vs Kaps

All plays MUST be used from the Daily Lines Thread located in this subforum. It is "stickied" at the very top of the thread list.

• All plays will be graded as 'to win' one unit.
• There are no maximums on plays made per day. However, you must make from 8-10 picks for Round One. If you make less than 8 picks, one unit will be subtracted from your record for every missing one.
• If your opponent picks the side of a game, you may not pick the same side OR the opposite side. You may, however, pick the total.
• Lines will be posted overnight and the following morning up to 11AM EST. No further additions will be made.
• Past-posted plays will not count.

I've got my score at +3.88

The reason is all plays are to win 1 unit. So underdog plays risk less than 1 unit.

the UNLV +101 bet i lost would have been risk 0.99 units to win 1.00 unit

i know it doesn't sound right to wager less than 1 unit, but i explicitly asked about this rule before the tourney started.

I doubt 0.01 unit would make or break me on this round, but this rule should be clarified before it happens to someone in another match with a bigger dog thinking they've won over 1+ units and they end up feeling cheated if they lose narrowly.

+101 if lose is a -1.00 not -0.99 .. If win it is a +1.01

And i must say this is what you call a battle.

take the favorite risk -1.13 to win 1.00
take the dog risk 1.00 to win +1.03
