Note : if my counting or math is wrong , never mind.
If you have 1 pt going into Monday night, you want the Prick to be correct on his last pick and end with 0 pts so those with -1 are kept out of the prize pool. WRONG! very strange (to me anyway).
For those with 1 pt, it's actually better if he is wrong tonight and ends at -2 pts.
number with 5 pts--- 5
3 ---- 25
1 ----- 39
-1 ------ 47
The above count excludes employees ( I may have missed some , but a few at the 1 or -1 level won't matter much)
if prick picks correctly, prize for 1 pt is $36 and 47 guys with -1 get 0
if prick picks wrong, prize for 1 pt is higher even though 47 more guys get into the pool. In this case , prize for 1 pt is $46 .
I am not complaining about the scoring system. I am just noting a situation I find surprising and interesting.
It's a fun contest that will have all of us earning a nice amount by the end. Thanks, SBR ,
Again, if I am wrong about this --- oops.
