Just sitting here feeling smug about my +3 and I went to have a look at the week's results - wow - I'm just middle-of-the-pack. Good job cappers.

Unfortunately that damn Prick is right there having a good week too. Go Vikes.

Ups and downs. A few weeks back there was only one +5. But then there are weeks like this when everything is top-loaded.

The push was a real possibility in that game. I was rooting for NO-3 due to a middle possibility that would have been worth a lot more than the BTP funds it would have cost me.

          Damn kickers.

But I'll take the Minn cover.

Excuse me, that's not right. As I recall there were two +5's that week. But one was an SBR employee which didn't count towards the money.

But it still happened and is still a part of the overall capping. Sorry to short-change you Willie B.

Willie B. is capping up a storm this year.

              Hey there Mudcat,

Don't shortchange yourself with that (+) 9 points overall.
              You're doing great.

I too would be up there,
Except for my golden sombrero (-5 pts) two weeks ago.
But @ least I got it back this week with a (+) 5.
              Go figure...

              Now being (+) 6 overall,
I've more than doubled my original entry fee!

GL to ya the rest of the season.
Let's win some more of Mr. Prick's $$$.

Whys it annoying? Because they are good at capping? Just take a lot of the good people's picks and parlay them, they win, then you win big

I'm sure he feels it's annoying for the obvious reason. Less people with good records means less people splitting the cash.

My personal feeling is that in future years, they should only allow me and perhaps 3 other people in the contest.

This idea of parlaying the picks of top players sounds pretty dubious to me. In hindsight after a good week it sounds great, but you never know ahead of time who is going to kick ass.

Really, at this point, there is WAY too small a sample to even know who the "good people" are. Even at the end of the contest, it will still be too small a sample. However if that is your approach, I wish you luck.

yep I just want the cash to be split with as little players as possible because it sucks to see like 100 ppl with $50

next yr just me and you
