Anybody that wants in just post here and forget the inbox routine as I can't answer PM's at the moment. You have until tomorrow to let me know. xxx, I've got your request and I have to send invites but I won't do it until I get a list of all the folks that want to join so I can send them all at once. There's a 20 person limit and there are 4 so far. It'll cost you 1 point to join and winner takes all. This contest is going to be called Last Man Standing II as I screwed up the first one already.

We're going to do it again. What we're finding out is that we're pretty average as a group. lol
We are seeing some folks auto-eliminate themselves after a bad day or two by not continuing to make picks which is sad. The next one we're going to probably make it 25 or more points to join to provide a little more incentive to stay in case you can come roaring back after a bad day. The first round is only a week until the eliminations start. I made an adjustment to accomodate the NHL bettors in that the first group elimination will take out everyone that has a unit win amount rather than a win % lower than an average of the whole group. Nailing a pretty good dog can juice your units and might keep you ahead of someone like me that sticks to basketball. Conversely if you try and skate by and play the heavy chalk in NHL and it loses, well......

Last Man Standing will execute those that are below the line after Tuesday night 2/28, The survivors will be executed one by one until there is only 1. I already screwed up the title Last Man Standing II so the next one will be Last Man Standing III and we can start it on Saturday 3/3. If you're interested post it here or PM me and I can see what kind of interest there is for the next one. Figure on 25 SBR points to join in.

OK, we learned a little from the first contest.... the rules for Last Man Standing III

Round 1 will consist of 2 picks a day for 1 week. After this syndicate round any player that has a worse unit value than the average of the group will be eliminated. Each day thereafter last place will be eliminated daily (elimination round) until there is only 1. In the elimination round you must pick at least 1 game a day with a max of 3 games per day. If more than 1 person is tied for last during the elimination round, you're all gone. After the syndicate round you do not have to make 3 picks per day if you choose not to. But you must pick at least one and remember that the last place person each day will be eliminated.
