• Round 3 will run from Wednesday to Monday. This allows you to get in various sports, as well as the entire slate of pro and college football capped off with Monday Night Football. The conclusion of the tournament will run through these days.
• You must make 8 plays for Round 3. If you make less than 8 plays, one unit will be subtracted from your record for every missing pick.
• You can not play the same team twice in the same game. ie. runline and moneyline, first five and game, first half and game. If any player posts 2 plays on the same team/total then the play listed first will be graded and the 2nd one will be no action regardless of outcome.
• If a play is listed on the same team or o/u after your opponent has listed the play then it will be graded no action regardless of the outcome. Side/total will be allowed ONLY for full game, i.e. Cowboys -3/over 45.5, Cowboys ML/over 45.5 etc.
• Any play posted past the listed start time on the daily lines will be graded no action regardless of whether it is 1 minute or 30 minutes late.
• Favorites will be graded to win one unit, while dogs will be risking 1 unit.
• There is no max on plays per day. You can make all of the required plays in a day if you so choose.
• In the event of a postponed game, we will rule that selection as no action.
• If your final required play is made on the last day of the round and no other games are available and your selection is postponed, we will not enforce a one unit penalty for being one pick under the required limit.
• All plays and lines MUST be used from the Daily Lines thread or those plays will not be counted, a one unit penalty can be enforced with discretion or repeat offenders.

Firstly, I am no one's boy.

Secondly, I was letting you know something based on a previous posting. Of course, I don't feel the need to wantonly swear at other posters while doing so either.

Lastly, I'll be interested to hear how Crazyl grades this. The rules are a bit vague as they say

"Any play posted past the listed start time on the daily lines will be graded no action regardless of whether it is 1 minute or 30 minutes late."

His play was posted 0 minutes past the listed start time so it wasn't posted past the time at all. Conversely, many books will list a game as having a kickoff at a certain time and take the bet off the board when that time hits. However, a book like Bodog, for example, has a running clock so you know what time they have. SBR does not have this so it makes it more difficult. So with all of that said, I would tend to grade the wager as having action, although I can certainly see the other side.

Note: Tried to be as impartial as possible. With all due respect to LVHerbie, it is in my interest for the play to be graded as no action.

In this case, Durito made a "test post" at 7:44PM EST to gauge SBR's clock, and had to wait 30 seconds to submit his pick, and indeed it was not technically 'past' the start time, as it was right on the button at 7:45PM EST. So therefor, there's no definable basis to no action this pick.

I'd like to ask you guys not to make a habit of doing this though, because baseball for one usually starts right at the listed time and there's going to be more clarification in the rules forthcoming stating picks must be in by 7:44:59PM for games starting at 7:45. We'll take ours off the board just like books would. Thanks for bringing this gray area to my attention.

Well you answered your own question... You are basically saying that it should not count but you'll let it slide just don't make a habbit of it...

I don't care if this counts but I want the opportunity to post AT the start time.... I should not screw myself because I brought it to somene's attention... "CLoo" you know how I like to wait as long as possible and I would like to be able to post my play at start time if this counts...

Thanks for the clarification Crazyl. I honestly wasn't trying to pull anything here, I meant to make this play earlier in the day. I don't have the free time Shams does to sit around waiting to make my contest picks, I'm busy with actual wagers. Had my test post hit at 4:45 I wouldn't have gone ahead with the play.
