Fantasy football contest idea

would anyone be interested in what i call a one and done league

It would be a total points league, no headsup and play for weekly and total overall points.

You would start a qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, k and d every week

BUT, after you take that player you can't use that player again the rest of the season. We would play all the way till the end of week 17

All td's would be 6 points, 1 point per reception for rb, wr, te and 1pt for 25 yards passing, 1 pt for every ten yards rushing and receiving.

I will put up 50 points of my own as a prize as its all i have. Perhaps sbr can help with this and others donate points.

I will grade the contest and keep up with it, might need some help though

You just can't create a contest here, people would need to pm me their lineups ? then i post them all in a thread? Nobody is going to give me 50 pts, they will think ill play bj with it

Maybe donate the pts to me and then i donate them all to lou?

lol...yea that's true. Would be a nice if there was a site to run all of this and do the scoring. I'm sure it's gonna turn into a pain in the ass to run all this and keep up with it.

I think for the scoring we could just use one of the sites like cbs, yahoo, or Espn and go by their scoring. Then we could just enter the information in here once the games are final. It would be much easier then manually scoring everybody's players I think. Just a thought.

This is actually a REALLY cool contest idea. I think SBR should def jump in and offer some sort of points prize for this. It's season long (well, rest of the season) and it will keep everyone interested.

Hopefully SBR can find some extra points or something in their rainy day fund to get this off the ground. Maybe Fan Duel can set it up, not sure if they have that kind of software capability.

Something to think about for next season. Announce it a month or so before the start of the season.
