i thought allowing any play on the board from pinny that last day instead of being restricted to the usual list of posted plays was a benefit most players never saw but diogee couldn't get the lines up that day so it was special circumstances

The rules were broken way too many times already. They should have been enforced from day one all the way through the contest.
