wow this whole thing is just screwed up. Cant really call it nfl if no nfl games for week 1 in this contest and half the field did not make picks. I am 2 short myself because there we're like 30 games with no lines.

I just saw yesterday that contest was open and how the schedule was fukked up. It really was a piss poor decision to make the start/end date the way it was. huge fail from contest starter, but its also my fault for not paying attention to the start date. I ended up making all 15 picks yesterday just guessing, went 4-11 no surprise there blindly picking games. It was a terrible way to set it up, but yes its my fault to for not paying attention to who started the contest and to the start date.

Damn after going back and reading post 1, tt is right. the contest is supposed to start on the 8th. Everyone who complained did so rightfully, and should be awarded their entry fee back.

extending it is wrong, because some people saw people were putting in picks and panicked and used all their picks on saturday games

Not true, why would people (such as me) check the contest early if it said NFL only and September 8 when we joined? Can't change rules after contest is already set up, that's not right.

Well. you weren't REALLY in 1st place because by rights, the contest should not have begun yet.

Bigdaddy and Lou did the right thing, rules should not be changed after a contest is already set up, especially if it involves pushing up the start date with more than half of the participants not knowing about it.
