I wanted a quick bracket style contest since we don't have these types that often and they are my personal favorite, hence why each round is only 1 day in length with 5 required picks per round which should be fun.

Now the second part, action point grading, it will work but some might complain because you can get more points taking WNBA or CFL that it will take away from selecting MLB but keep in mind you also stand to lose more action points in WNBA and CFL so still think this will be a good contest. Obviously when foots kickoff we can do action point contests weekly, which should be a good time.

I knocked it down from 16 to 8 members and it said I have 3 days to fill it up, so try again if you want to get in... should work.

I'll open it up to 16 and see how it goes, I really don't care one way or another.. just want a fun, bracket contest. I'll open it up to 16 and if we have 7 or 8 come late Saturday, I'll change it back to 8 so we can get it started next Monday if that's what everyone is cool with.

If we get 8 players by Sunday we can have a quick contest using totals in MLB, CFL, and WNBA as the original plan.

If we don't get at least 8 players by Sunday I can move date up so it cancels contest, not sure we will get points back from SBR, but if this is decided and we don't... I would have no problem refunded you 5 guys that signed up with my own points.

We could redo the contest and change sports and number of entrants from NFL/NCAAF totals and 64 or 128 entrants and start it first week of football season or even preseason. Would also change number of days per round from 1 to 1 week and make it a long contest. This would fill up IMO because its foots and action totals and in the past it has.

I'll let you guys decide what you want me to do, whatever is picked if fine with me... just don't want anyone unhappy that entered. Let me know, I'll check thread here and there to see for updates.

Just cut it off at 8 players to Start on Friday and Conclude on Sunday & then try again next week for a field of 16 with a 5-6 pt. entry fee?

Went ahead and capped it at 8, if we get 1 more by night's end, I will set it to begin this Friday and we can have a nice, little weekend contest. I will send out PMs to all players to give a 24 hour notice when its starting.

I'm going to setup an action points contest for football, probably shoot for start date of week 1 of college foots and going to open it to 128 but at worst think we can get 64.
