    So about this Derby challenge...
I didn't realize that for Friday we got $50 for each RACE...I thought it meant $50 for each DAY. "$50 each for races Friday and Saturday". Wasn't really clear and I didn't have time to take note of what others were doing.

    Son of a biatch.

It read like this in every thread:

    Contest Schedule
3 races on Friday, May 6 (including the Kentucky Oaks)
9 races on Saturday, May 7 (ending with the Kentucky Derby)

    * $50 Bankroll for each of the 3 Friday races and first 8 Saturday races
    * $100 Bankroll for the Kentucky Derby itself (final race on Saturday)

I don't know how much clearer it could have been made than this.

Next year if we have it again just have it say "$50 for each race Friday and each race Saturday". When I first read it for the Friday races I thought we had $50 total for each day for the non-Derby races, and then $100 on the Derby, so obviously the major emphasis would be on picking Derby winners.

Obviously I read it wrong, but a little confusing.

We had this contest announced with its format and rules since March 25. Plenty of time to clarify any confusion you had on anything. Also, I posted in each race's picks thread how much bankroll there was to use for it - just in case anyone did not know whether it was $50 or $100.

I don't spend all day on this forum like others, Reload. I saw the contest late Thursday night before passing out, made my picks, and went about my life...

Just a misunderstanding. I'm not asking for a recount or calling anybody a moron for writing slightly ambiguous rules. Just offering a suggestion for next year.

Good thing W2W is a good guy, otherwise he would of called Reload a moron for writing slightly ambiguous rules. Good thing he clarified that above, LOL. For the record, I'm not calling W2W a dummy for a mistake he made on his on, just stating that maybe he should spend more time on here reading so he doesn't make the same mistake next year, lol. Just kidding, lol.

What W2W wrote reminded me of a fight I witnessed between two coworkers. The one worker said that he wasn't calling the other an A-hole for a fukup he did. The other responded he wasn't calling him a Mf-er for not understanding their responsibilities. The name calling continued but they each always said "I'm not calling you a" before they added the expletive. They both tried to use this as justification that they really didn't curse each other out. It was hilarious, lol. They both were still reprimanded.

No, I did not notice. And I started this thread before I won.

I was just bitching about not doing it right. Get over it, kiss-ass-daddy.

Great job with the contest, Reload. Thanks for giving me the chance to beat fools with a self-imposed limited bankroll.
