I'll take the blame for that one...the rule how I understood it was if opponent has the game then you can have 1H. I was thinking anything but the same EXACT pick. Either way it had no affects on the outcome of the match and the rule is now very clear for the 2nd round.

No not todays game... it was the night before with the Pistons and Celtics game... and I found out at halftime that he had the pistons bc imgv "texted" Mofo his pick.... Mofo all of a sudden found the text on his phone right after I brought up the 7pm rule last night...

You have to take this to the board. Start a survey explaining the situation and ask people to vote on who won. You need to defend yourself and get the majority on your side. I'll be gone for about 6 hours so you're on your own. Good luck!

Thanks bro... its obvious I should advance but screw it, I am not going to dwell on it any longer. The 7pm rule clearly was a "FAKE" rule... and yesterday IMGV sent Mofome a "TEXT" with his pick, but now tonight Mofome is saying IMGV sent him a "PM" with his pick..... sounds like some BS to me. Why would Mofome lie 5 star? That's really the issue here and the point you're trying to prove. He has backed you time after time after you've made an ass of yourself. When you continually say Gyno won because he broke a rule you're in fact saying the Mofome is lying and helped Gyno cheat.

If you want to make an argument you should focus on whether it's fair for your opponent's pick to be a secret until the event is well underway.

To be honest, mofome has said from the start that this is a free contest and he's feeling his way around it so it will be better in the future. I suspect he's learned his lesson and will either not allow picks to be sent to him privately or will at least make sure that they are posted publicly in a timely manner.

There is no way i would cheat for anyone in any contest. i create these things to give away my money....and im far from rich. I do the best i can, and i don't claim to be perfect. 5 star, i consider you a friend and i was not pulling against you, but this is how things turned out and, imo, i have been fair. imgv and i are not friends, the guy has crapped on me for no reason many times, but i cant allow friendship to cloud any judgments in these contests. imgv and i seem to be cool now and perhaps that will last, but who knows...its really of no significants. i do my best to do anything i can for people here and make myself available on sbr, through pms, through the phone, through text, through email, and through myspace. to be honest, despite this bump in the road, the first round went more smoothly than i expect for such a large project in its first go around. i do apologize for the fact that you feel screwed over, but the intent to ruin anyways chances, anyones day, or anyones fun was the thing from my mind.

ive also said that people could PM me their plays on the last day so as to keep them secret. you don't have the right to know someone elses play....for what? his play was posted with the game still in doubt and at 8pm. you know where you stand every day going into your picks, you are owed nothing other than that. focus on your own plays and do better in the future.

Some forums keep the plays private until well after the games start, it has no baring on any results. none.
