Ok I give up.
Where's TOMCAST's picks?
Did he take a flyer this week?
(IF) so, it's a calculated move.

It's crazy. I posted my strategy for this week in another thread.

My plan is to not put in any picks. The only way we can lose is if Santo goes 4-0 so if he puts in picks, we'll probably parlay his picks as a hedge. If he does go 4-0 we'll get 2nd place plus a few grand on the 4-team parlay. If he doesn't, we'll win first place minus a few hundred bucks we lose on the parlay.
That is the strategy as of right now.
It has been a totally crazy experience, this whole thing. The old saying, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is," hasn't been true here. For the 2 second effort of putting in four picks every week I think I won over $1000 last year. And now this.
I don't know what happens now. If someone from SBR wants to PM me and let me know how this prize works, I'll keep an eye open.

For me it was a strategy decision. I couldn't post at the deadline because I was at the Spurs/Reading game at White Hart Lane (great game). If I post early, it would have made sense for those below me to pick the reverse, giving them a much higher shot of overtaking, so the decision made itself. I was more likely to lose EV by picking than gain it imo.

I have to congratulate Santo and pokernutt and jon13009 and others for their great seasons.
I couldn't believe how my picks kept winning so much (I'm not bragging. It wasn't me. I had a pro giving me picks). But except for a game or two here and there, you guys were winning just as much. That's amazing. My hat is off to you. I know if I used my own picks you would have buried me.
Great capping.

So what did you decide bike or $? Id take the $, the Harley market is resembling the housing market. Bikes are dirt cheap, and used ones are a dime a dozen. I own a few antique HDs and am familiar with bike market conditions.
Congratulations on the win!

I would take the money as well tomcast! Congrats to everyone that cashed! I cost myself of being in the money by sitting out 3 weeks ago! The 4 games that I picked would have netted me +3 points and that probably would have put me in the money! Hindsight is 20/20! Sucks to finish just out of the money, but the $200 I won from winning two weeks was awesome!
THANKS A LOT SBR AND ALL OF THE BOOKS THAT MADE THIS CONTEST HAPPEN! I AM ALREADY PUMPED FOR NEXT SEASON!
