Fuking Yahoo locks you out for the week after the first game of the week starts.

So your first pick is NO pick, and you lose.

The thursday games later in the season used to get me with that shit. I don't think ESPN locks you out like that.

I agree marbles, it is a cluster no doubt....and the point situation is beyond cloudy to say the least....however, if one was able to get into the yahoo page, and get the points sent by the deadline, you have to honor the rules that were set forth, as the rest of us had....i was just trying to clear up some things for the guy who didnt get his picks in on time (the rest of us did) and for those who did not send the points in time.

as for your "5 people" listed in the contest, i suppose you're referring to this post....and i think you might have it a little misunderstood bro

the first five people he has listed are not the ones in the league, they are the ones that had sent points but failed to log into the league page at the time of the post, and the second part of the post was the list of people who had joined the league, but had not sent the points in time. That post was a list of people who were NOT in for various reasons, list 1 because of not signing in yet (as of the post date) and list 2 because they did not have the points sent

again man i feel ya, this is beyond clustered, and it's even more frustrating that someone like me has to explain everything because bigdaddy either doesn't possess the english profficiency to do so or hasn't the time to check back in on the thread as much.....

i hope this cleared some things up and gives some perspective from those of us who actually managed to navigate this craziness and get everything in on time.

so there ya have it boys, hope this clears up some of the confusion all the names highlighted in blue in this post are those that are still in the contest and eligible for whatever the payout may or may not be.....those highlighted in red are those that are no longer eligible because of failure to either get picks in on time, points in on time, or log into the proper league in time....

(whew, that was more work than i thought it'd be, BDJ owes me some points methinks if he should ever return from double secret probation)

i hear ya xxx, it sucks dude, but ive been burned before for not checking all the rules. the way i look at it, i try to look into everything when i'm signing up with points or money, because once the transaction is made (regardless of the currency) i'm signing on to play by the rules.....

again tho i feel for ya bro since this whole thing is being shoddily run, plus i have 3 fantasy teams, 2 survivor pools, and a weekly pickem contest to keep up with....haha fantasy is like a part time job anymore....

anyways guys i pm'ed lout about this situation....he confirmed that in fact BDJ's points were confiscated and that the payout will be handled by lou and will still happen.....he told me to PM him the winner and the amount of points to be sent to that winner.....

as well, on behalf of those who ponied up the points but were unable/did not sign into the correct yahoo league in time, i asked if their points could reimbursed as they never had a chance to post official picks, in accordance with the rules in the first place (and as xxx posted, were not even able to get league specifics posted within the league, i.e. pick posting deadlines, etc.)

lou has yet to get back to me on the reimbursement list but these are the names i submitted him to be returned points

i did not include Doc JS simply because he was able to post points AND login to the correct website, so was privy to league rules, yet failed to get his pick in on time, please don't be too pissed Doc, as I felt this was only fair as the rest of the league members were able to check out the rules in the Yahoo League.....

I'll post in here when lou gets back to me about the reimbursements.....

I entered the contest on Yahoo, and then was unable to give points due to the fact that SBR wouldn't allow it, after removing all the other points he had been given.

Oh well. Plenty of other contests to participate in... ones that are run by competent users.

First off i have no affiliation with bigdaddyjames....don't know the dude.....i was only coming in here to help clean up some of the mess and clear up some of the confusion.....i'm not defending him, just trying to get this survivor pool to run a little smoother

i actually asked on your behalf to reimburse you (and the 4 other guys) for your 20 points that you posted since you were unable to join the proper league

if you look back earlier in the thread, I believe it's user "Andy117" suggests the yahoo league idea and went on to post his (andy117's) previous league as a reference.....BDJ mistakenly used that as his original URL....

after that all kinds of confusion and horseshit ensued.....eventually it was made noted that the new league id and password were different for BDJ's league and somehow, 20 of the 25 managed to figure it out....those that were confused and did not join in time were the ones that i was lobbying for a refund for

so again before you get all butthurt because you can't ******* utilize reading comprehension skills, why don't you take a few minutes to read through some of my posts and realize that i am only trying to make things a little easier in this cluster **** of a situation....
