Question?? Multiple 5-0 weekly winners??

OK, when more than 10 people go 5-0 for the week how are the top 10 picked. It looks as if they go by the number of posts you have, but I've seen some people with 9,000+ posts. How is that possible?? I only smoked 1/2 a blunt this morning, so what am I missing?? Maybe I should finish it.

every year should be a restart on post just for the contest, and the reg post seprate from the contest. To make it fair for all who is in the contest.

this is my first year in the contest, but from what i understand it has grown bigger each year. i think maybe next year they need to go to 5 games and have you rate the games 1-5 for points. i think that would narrow down multiple winners each week, that way the odds of having people left out who had perfect records would be less.

Dude, you have made 4 posts already. Every time you reply to a thread in this forum or the forums relating to sports, it is counted as a post when you hit that "Submit Reply" button - ALSO you need 20 characters minimum for a post to count. The number of posts you have when you submit your picks are the number of posts for that week's contest (additional posts don't seem to count to that week's contest).

The only exceptions I can identify are posts made (or moved by a moderator - so be careful) to the private forum.

I suggest getting your post count above 75 to have a reasonable chance. Also (I think) because you get a 4-0 score does not mean you will win automatically - because if The Prick gets his act together- and The Prick goes 4-0 (you have to beat him) - you lose. GL, and congrats to all the fellow winners this week.

Yes, I found out the hard way, (by going 4-0 this past weekend) without the sufficient number of posts, I failed to win the PRICKS $$$. Lesson learned...

If you think about it, with all of the contests participants it's a given that more than 10 (probably more than 25) people are going to go 5-0 on every week. So if you don't post alot you have NO chance. That BLOWS!!
Some people don't have time to post responses to everyones remarks and some people have a 3 year or more head start. How in god's name are we supposed to catch up.

Why complain about a free contest? If you want to make money you can go bet your own money and you don't have to worry about what the prick does, or start posting.

Since there has been so much grousing about post counts...I've done a little research:
Week 2 - 7 posters won $ with 8 posts or less.
Week 3 - 4 posters won $ with 8 posts or less.
Week 4 - Lowest post count to win $ was 51. Highest post count to NOT WIN $ 42.
Week 5 - Lowest post count to win $ was 58. Highest post count to NOT WIN $ 46.
Week 6 - Lowest post count to wiin $ was 27. Highest post count to NOT WIN $ 24.

So, I think we've seen you don't have to have a ton of posts to win money. So, far through six weeks of the contest the highest post count that didn't win was 46. C'mon guys! Let's get out there and post!!

It probably won't come into play for the grand prize, although I guess you never really know.

It may come into play for the money prizes. It wouldn't stun me to see two posters in the top twenty with the same point total at the end and it come down to post count.

last year was much better chance for get $! We haved beyond 50 winners almost every round! I reached 2x $200 very easy! This year this is much difficult mision! Much more competitors and less prises! maybe 5% will reach some $!

It's free, you get prizes at the end of the year if you do well... quit complaining, go post if you want the $100 for a week you go 4-0... tho I doubt you will do it
