just found the rules and looks like i can still be in running for grand prizes if i get in for next week. says contestants must play in 13 of the 15 weeks beginning week 3 thru week 17. so i guess if i'm reading that right that i'll be okay if i get in next week

You got it right. Weekly prizes are awarded in each of the 17 weeks that contestants beat The Prick's picks. Contestants who sign up and get their picks in before 11:00 ET Saturday morning of Week 5 will still be eligible for season-ending Grand Prizes assuming they don't miss any weeks thereafter.
