$500 Bodog Poker Events: Oct 22nd & 29th

Oct. XX is Halloween. I don't think I can make it that Wednesday, I got a running gig as the haunted DJ down at the senior center. I even judge the costume contest, and being that it's close to check day, I can usually arrange a $15 kickback to rig it up. Droopy Sal and his Karate Kid get up is a heavy favorite again this year. Mrs. Lombardo could surprise. If she can overcome her arthritis and come across with a pan of homemade gnocci, I'll be duckin Sal and his boys for a while.

Can we do the tournament a different day, if so, I'm in.

Bodog bounties, $50 Cash per head

What do these things mean? I'm new, never played poker in my life but watch it on TV. I'd like to play but am intimidated by the fact that I am not good with math and being skilled at math is often mentioned as an attribute of successful poker players....

Bounties are if you knock a certain person out of the tournament you win the money. Zub don't worry about being new or not skilled at math. Just relax and have fun if you decide to play.

Thanks for that. So what does it costs to join? I understand now the $50 4x rollover per person one knocks out head to head. It'll be Texas Hold 'Em? Flop Turn River and all that.

Totally my mindset would be that of the team that has nothing to lose, nada expected of them thus.......dangerous LOL

I see poker on TV and of course think 'I could totally do that'. My wakeup call, I am sure, will come early.

yes , sbr is going to change the date of the tourney just because hotdiggity isn't available on october XX.
