Stake sizing: Up to 3 Units. You can risk up to 3 units on an underdog, and lay whatever necessary to win 3 units provided that the bet is -999 or less.

So long as the odds are -999 or less, you can lay whatever you need to for a 3 unit profit. So if someone wants to take some early chalk and risk 27 to gain 3, they're able to.

If someone makes 50 picks like this, though, all it will take is one or two to lose to really cripple them, so that is why this contest is structured different than last. I wanted posters to have more range and bet freedom.
