Suggestions for new Handicapping Contests

- 2. captains and pick posters to be on your team
- 3. form your own teams
- 4. world cup like poker but would require too many usa teams

BTP style college basketball contest and NBA contest would be hugely popular. Ditch all the money you are putting toward the random contests and such and it put toward season long contests that require maybe 250 picks against the line and are graded versus lines. People want to gamble. Give the people what they want.

Instead of Cover the League NHL -- BTP NHL

If you have these kind of contests, people that do not follow the sports will even be interested because they have just as good a chance as anyone else. So they will stick around year round instead of disappearing after BTP.

I like this idea quite a bit actually. The cover the league contests are fun but I'd rather have a contest similar to BTP where I'm making a set number of picks and being graded in units.

What about the first ever SBR olympics. contestants will acumulate points on the position they finish on the events they participate.
For example:
events offered == nfl - nba - hhl .....

points offered to top 50 places for each event contestant participates; 1rst place 50pts, 2ndplace 49pts, 3rd place 48 pts ... 49th place 2pts, 50th 1pts.

therefor;
3rd place finish in nfl event = 48pts
47th place finish in nba event = 4pts
68th place finish in nhl event = 0pts
.
.
and so on ....

you add up all your pts toward your final score.

This is one example of many grading systems.

It can be done within a two mounth timetable when all sporting events colide.

Yes, it will require alot of work to put the logistics toghether like any olmpics require but it will be fun to see SBR medals be handed out.
