I ain't got a shot, too far back. But I got 22. Lost 1st game with Pacers as a double digit fav. Then I got 4 in a row, then was in a win one, lose one run, then horrible losing run into the All Star break. I think i lost like 3 times on teams favored by 7, 7.5, or 8. Then lost right after the break. Since then I've been on a 15-5 run. And those 5 losses have mostly been by favs of 7 or more.

That’s the thing though. You still had a shot. I was playing this thing strategically and trust me you had a shot. The leaders had some empty days ahead. It’s easy to catch up when they can’t go anywhere. Hopefully if there is no regular season, they just rollover the prize into next years since there would be no winner as defined by the rules.

Obviously no "rule" about the season abruptly ending because of a worldwide epidemic! Spider's call, let's just see how the NBA chooses to play this out. Might not be possible to cover the entire league because of this freak situation. Like I said, Spider can decide - there's no contingency plan for a league-wide shutdown...

Time to bump this thread. Not sure how Spider wants to wrap up these NHL & NBA "Cover the League" contests but I propose the top 4 in the NHL and the top 2 in the NBA split the prize money. Yes, I'm tied with ArunSh for the top spot in the NBA but why completely scrap the contests? It took a month and a half of work for the 6 of us to have the lead and that effort should be worth something. Even if I wasn't leading I'd say the same thing. Wrap these two up and reboot in a few months when the leagues resume. An MLB "CTL" contest over the 60 game season might be something to consider. My thoughts - Final decision up to Spider but considering the freak nature of this situation, I say pay the current leaders.
