SBR Fantasy Football Leagues 2018 (3000 Point Buy-Ins!)
*Must be SBR PRO to join*

There will be three SBR Fantasy Football Leagues in 2018 (assuming 33 unique members send me points at the bottom of this post) all hosted by Yahoo, with each league having a 3000-Betpoint buy in! Please note however that League I is reserved only for members that were in League I any of the last three years. A list of those eligible for League I is down below, the first 11 members on the list to send points are in. Entries for the other two leagues are on a first come, first serve basis (including League I alumni that missed out), except that you may specify when you send your points if you have a specific league preference.

The three live drafts each lasting 16 rounds are scheduled as follows:

SBR Fantasy Football League: Tuesday, August 28th at 9:00 ET
SBR Fantasy Football League II: Wednesday, August 29th at 8:00 ET
SBR Fantasy Football League III: Thursday, August 30th at 9:00 ET

We scheduled those three consecutive nights in order to avoid Labor Day weekend.

    The Rules
Each league will be a 12-team league with a buy-in of 3000 Betpoints, with SBR adding 2000 points to the pot to bring each league pool to 38,000 Betpoints! Once the first 33 SBR members send me 3000 points via the “Give Points” button below, they will receive the Yahoo Invite link to their specific league via PM. Please remember to make your SBR handle obvious when you name your team at Yahoo so that we know who everybody is. The drafting order will randomized as soon as the team list for a particular league is finalized and the draft will be the standard snake format. You will have 90 seconds for each draft pick. Also note that each league has unlimited transactions, but the trading deadline is November 10th, 2018.

These are straight 12-team league with NO DIVISIONS. The top six seeds based on overall standings will make the playoffs with the top two seeds getting first round byes, thus being assured of being in the semifinals and winning points. In Week 14, the 3-seed will face the 6-seed and the 4-seed will face the 5-seed. In Week 15, the 1-seed will face the lowest remaining seed and the 2-seed will face the other Week 14 winner. The SBR Super Bowl will be in Week 16 and NFL Week 17 will be ignored.

The League Champion get 18,120 Betpoints, the Championship Game loser gets 6,040 Betpoints and the semifinal losers each get 3.020 Betpoints. Additionally, the high scorers for each week of the regular season will get 600 Betpoints (with ties split evenly).

Here are all the rules, with some highlights being that only 4 points are awarded for touchdown passes, this is a PPR league that gives 1 point per reception and kick return touchdown points are awarded to BOTH the defense/special team and the player: Also there is both fractional scoring and negative scoring.

    Roster:
    Current Roster Size: 16
    Total Starters: 9
    Total On Bench: 7

    Starting Positions
    Quarterback (QB) 1
    Running Back (RB) 2
    Wide Receiver (WR) 2
    Tight End (TE) 1
    Flex (RB/WR/TE) 1
    Defense/ST (D/ST) 1
    Place Kicker (K) 1

There are no limitations on what positions you draft, just make sure that you make the appropriate moves each week to field a valid starting lineup. Also, waiver claims are processed via a weekly rolling list based on standings. Thus, the last place team gets first crack at free agents, but once it gets one player the team moves to the bottom of the list.

    Playoff/Seeding Tiebreakers:
If two or more teams finish tied in the standings, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the official order of seedings:

    1. Total fantasy points (season total).
    2. Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
3 Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
    4. The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.

    Please note:
Teams must have identical winning percentages to be considered tied in the standings.
A team with an 8-4-1 (.654) record will be seeded ahead of a team with an 8-5 (.615) record. A team with an 8-6 (.571) record WILL be tied with a team with a 6-4-4 (.571) record.

Aside from yours truly, no members are allowed to join more than one league unless we open up League III to do so as we get closer to Draft Day.

As leagues fill up, there will be individual threads put up to manage each league.
