DEX, just wondering; I'm not seeing much reason to play LAA. I'm just curious: what are you seeing here with them?

** getting CLE ML at -130 at betus, so with the slight juice reduction i'm actually playing it at 2 units, but especially considering that i don't have the same ground to make up, i think i will play a lower risk strategy for the purposes of this competition**

in my writeup i posted it was more of a gut feel play on the angels about to go on a streak....obv i was way off.

Dex when are you going to do another rundown of how everyone is doing in the tournament. I was also wondering do our winnings carry over each round or do we have to start over. It only seems like it should carry over, but since you are in charge of this I figured it was your call or we could do a vote thing whatever you want. If it is in the rules and I missed it then sorry about that.

note to self: no matter how good of an idea it looks like, do NOT post/play games when i'm drunk. I should have been able to talk myself out of florida to win more than one road game in that series and taking washington at all on the road.

i'll do another rundown in a few days as we are winding down.

no, thats something suicidekings and i def discussed before the start and decided not to carry over month to month. im pretty sure its in the rules somewhere, or an added post was made. let me check on that.

vote would be useless as people >60 would say yes, <60 would say no...

i'd say no even if i had 70 units, because then the second round has a different complexion than the first round. i look at each matchup as a one month competition independant of the past. That's just my feeling.

I took the ML for NYY, and then remembered reading this analysis. I'm not a RL guy; I like the nice juice, but I hate losing on a win. If I like a team I take them about 66.66%-100% on the SU Win. Then if I either really like them and/or they are a road team; that RL looks like a nice sugar coating.

Guys - I think the tournament is moving very well as it seems everyone is following the proper rules etc. Im not monitoring each thread, so keep me informed if your opponent is mia, screwing up lines etc etc. suicide kings and i did discuss via pm that we would not carry over unit balances each round. instead we will start over at 60. i apologize, but it doesnt appear that we ever communicated that to everyone. what we will do to reward people with higher unit amounts is seed them vs the lower unit amounts (rather then follow the random draw i first posted)....so ie,

brandon laz has the most units at 85

peterpan has the least units (but won his match) at 40

that would be the 1 vs 8 seed for round 2.
