CBB Weekly Handicapping Contest - 1/18

Entry Fee is 20 Betpoints.

This contest starts Monday, 1/18/16 and ends Sunday, 1/24/16. You must make a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 45 CBB Plays. Contest includes Spreads, Totals and Money Lines. All plays must be rated from 1 to 5, and the rating will be the RISK amount, Standings will be based on UNITS.

Note: If there is a tie in units, tiebreaker will be Action Points, which is how many points you beat the spread by.

Point allocation depends on number of entries:

Members 1-9
1st: 100%

Members 10-19
1st: 60%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%

Members 20-49
1st: 50%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%
5th: 5%

Members 50+
1st: 30%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 14%
4th: 9%
5th: 7%
6th: 6%
7th: 5%
8th: 4%
9th: 3%
10th: 2%

I reduced the minimum/maximum required plays this week to 30/45, hoping that leads to more guys joining. I have no idea why we have had trouble reaching 10 guys with these CBB Weeklies, that was never an issue in the past. Where all my college hoops homies at?

How about just consolidating both NBA and CBB into a basketball weekly contest and reducing entry to 10 per person to attract more?

We are at 11 in CBB now and it is only Monday, so that's better. And I am never in favor of reducing fee, 20 points is low already.

Gotcha, yeah just knew that you had talked about discontinuing it so thought that just make a general basketball one might help. Also saw someone complaining 20 was too high (I also think it's too low) so thought lowering it might help as well.
