Do I need to create a new SBR ID? Or can I just make a note of my tounament username?
I had the same question and moderator answered me the following: "Step 2 as that is the name displayed at the site. Step 1 is your sign-on at RunYourPool itself, so that could be whatever you want."
I used another name in Step 1, the most important is to use your SBR's name in Step 2.

Correct, the team name should match SBR handle. If it doesn't fit, put _sbr at the end.

If you don't remember your previous log-in, just create a new account on Runyourpool.

can i go back to finish my partially filled bracket if I hit "submit"? I don't see any place to "save".
I hope we don't have to complete it in one sitting.

Yes the bracket can be edited prior to the deadline, but the software won't let you submit an incomplete bracket.

could this be explained clearly with a couple examples opening rounds and later rounds?
Seed bonus points: Receive points equal to the difference in seed values for underdog wins only.

If you correctly pick a 12-seed to beat a 5-seed, you get 7 bonus points. That is true in every round, so if you eventually pick say a 4-seed to beat a 1-seeed in the Sweet 16, you get 3 bonus points.

Hi jaytee20,
We understand that Sam helped you create an account on Runyourpool's website. Log-in using the credentials he provided you, and hit make picks.
Best of luck.

It is because you are clicking last year's contest on Runyourpool as you are using the same account. You need to join the pool linked in the first post with the title of 2015.

If I'm not shown as JMobile then I'm Jmobile_SBR. Thing was confusing but it said that JMobile was already in use and I never had an account before there.

Looks like also gives bonus points for vitrual upsets. For example, UCLA (11) beat UAB (14). It should not get bonus points, as it was not an actual upset. But it gives 8 bonus points because UCLA expected opponent was Iowa St (3). Not a big deal, but it would be nice to know how does it work before picking.

what, the contest we are in scores like that?
I certainly hope not, that is a terrible scoring method.

I just looked at the brackets and unless I missed something it is not scoring like that. UCLA just got 2 points last night, no bonus.

Yeah just two points
2nd place guy had it
the (math) for the UAB pick from the round of 64 shows up next to that bucks second found win maybe that confused people... It said (1+11) but that is for UAB beating Iowa st. The format puts it below UAB though which happens to be next to UCLA

In Step 1 when 6 characters are requested you can write any username you want, but in Step 2 you MUST write your SBR username. I just had the same question.
