    Showing picks midweek
Any thoughts about perhaps making the consensus of board picks private until each week closes? Keeping the totals, and the specific posters picks public during the week can pretty heavily influence subsequent picks.

I guess it's part of the gamesmanship, some might like to follow or fade particular posters or trends, but it might be nice if you could select to keep your picks private.

There have been a lot of good ideas presented for this year's BTP contest. However, at this point (week 4), we're pretty much set with how the contest is going to run for this year. With that said, I guarantee that, moving ahead, all of the suggestions we've seen will be considered for all future contests. SBR has some of the sharpest posters anywhere ... you guys are what make contests like Beat The Prick so much fun. Both SBR and CRIS look forward to sending one of you guys to the Super Bowl in February ... whoever wins that trip will have truly earned it!

Did you read more than the first sentence before skipping right to your ingenious reply? There are many reasons this could be a favorable choice, especially later on in the game.

However, since the main goal of the contest is the draw participants - to both SBR and BetCris - I can see why leaving the picks public would be the smart move.
