The 128 Man Final Four has finally arrived! Congratulations to everyone who made it this far in the tournament. The bigger money rounds have arrived and the intensity has been dialed up a notch. Posters blackbart, aguy, jayc88, and bestplay2day all have a shot at winning the title! Who will go on, wo will go home? Only time will tell!
Robyn vs blackbart: In the biggest collapse of 128 Man History, Robyn has blown her overwhelming advantage over SBR forum poster blackbart and been sent home. blackbart started out 0-5 and in a -5.30 unit hole, Robyn started out 2-1 with a huge advantage as she'd only need to break even on her last 5 picks to lock up a victory and it'd have been all she wrote for blackbart. Unfortunately, after starting 2-1 Robyn lost her last six picks, and blackbart went 5/7 to cap the most amazing comeback win we've ever had in the 128 Man record books. Robyn beat the odds in many posters mind making it this far and being the first ever woman to advance to the SBR Elite Eight, but it was lights out after that, and the -460 favorite going into the match prevailed albeit in unimpressive fashion.
jayc88 vs sharktank1: If I started off by telling you that SBR forum poster sharktank1 went 6-3 +2.95, you'd estimate there is a pretty good chance he was the victor of the match, right? Not on jayc88's watch. jayc88 took mattered into his own hands and went 7-0 +7.00, he was penalized for missing one pick so in actuality his record was 7-1 +5.50 but it doesn't matter as that's good enough. jayc88 completely obliterated sharktank1 in every sense of the word. Going into the match jayc88 was a +103 baby dog and sharktank1 was -113.
Aguy vs gm2022: Aguy was -110 going into this match and held a bit of a chip on his shoulder because of that. It was no secret he felt the oddsmakers shorted him and had too low of expectations for him in this match. He did go 4-4 and lose 12 cents, but gm2022 was shaky from the getgo perhaps feeling a bit intimidated by the more battle tested handicapper. Aguy's performance was good enough to see him past gm2022 who turned up a forgettable 2-7 -5.30 performance.
Fearless vs bestplay2day: It only took 27 posts to decide a winner in this one, but -225 favorite bestplay2day steamrolled over underdog fearless who the oddsmakers gave little chance of advancing here. Being a +205 underdog in a contest of 12 picks or less is indicative of some heavy respect for the favorite, and the favorite came htrough as bestplay2day sealed a 5-3 +1.94 to 4-7 -3.49 victory. Bestplay2day is undoubtedly one of the favorites going forward and it'll be interesting to see what the odds are on him once they are released by CrazyLou later this morning
