I've got between now and the end of the season to choose 30 NBA plays (sides and totals). The plays will be graded on action points. pico has bet me that I won't finish positive in action points over the 30 plays.

Rules:

NBA only sides and totals only.

I must use the Greek line at sbrline at the time I make my post.

1/2 pt count as 1/2 unit win/loss @-110.

No editing posts in the contest thread. If I do that, it is an automatic forfeit.

If there's a dispute about the start time of a game we'll settle it by using espn.com.

Cavs game = 170 - 180.5 = -10.5

In total

15.5 - 10.5 = +5

Since you are playing at -110 you would take the total loss and multiply it by 1.10

The over didn't cover by 10.5 so you would do:
10.5 x 1.1= 11.55

How much are you guys betting on this challenge? Also, if it's just for action points the -110 juice on losses shouldn't be factored in my opinion. Wins or losses don't not matter in this contest, only the amount of action points + or - from the spread is being wagered on. So I agree with Fearless on his original calculation, does this make sense?

he agreed with the rule before the start of the contest. looks like you never bet action points before, so i recommend you stay recreational.

If all plays count the same it should not matter but I agree with you it would be less confusing if you just count points -/+ and not add the 10% sugar !!!!!!!!!!!
