you would have to run ridiculously bad or be a complete dumbass to lose points with 4/1 blackjack that runs for an hour

even a slow player can play 300 hands/hour, at 5 pts/hand, that's an average +ev of +180 points, with right around a 0% chance of being behind

This triathlon deal is the most confusing contest SBR ever run. You get points from poker, basketball capping and blackjack? Might as well add a ping pong tourney and a horseshoe contest.

people have plenty of time to put together 50 points or so as a blackjack bankroll (max is 5 pts/hand)

All it is is playing BJ in the casino, same as you normally would, except BJ pays 4:1. You don't need a certain amount of points, whatever you've got.

Thanks. But how do you determine who gets the most triathlon points? Is it the more you play and the more points you win the nore triathlon points you get?

Yeah I agree. Should it be based on how many hands you win vs lost instead? But then wouldn't anyone just bet the minimum so they can play the most hands? They need to think about the rules really hard over the weekend else it would be a mess.

You could tell us on begining. Not 3 days before BJ. So now people need to get point from sky to play black jack.
You could give everyone free play without possibility to win points.

Why would that matter? Amount won/lost is not dependent on bankroll size. If youre really that worried and stressed about it you can always ask for a loan.

well someone with a 100 bankroll doing 1 point bets and someone with 1000 bankroll doing 10 point bets using the same strategy are not going to have the same points won at the end of contest.
