Arian Foster was limited with a knee injury in Thursday's practice.

Foster missed the last quarter of practice after developing soreness in his knee. Coach Gary Kubiak believes Foster will be "OK" and should be ready for Sunday's game versus the Dolphins. While it sounds like Foster is safe to plug in as a RB1, we recommend checking back Friday afternoon to ensure the soreness isn't of the lingering variety.

To start the season last year, he missed time due to his hammy, but was a stud the rest of the year. Hopefully, those that picked Foster got Tate for the handcuff.

I picked up B.Tate, but don't have A.Foster, just for this. In case he got hurt again. B.Tate can put up close to A.Foster numbers, and that would go great with Ray Rice on my team.

I have him for the rushing title on a free prop wager. I suspect they will just be cautious the first game (or two), and then it will be business as usual for him.

Missed Practice Friday, and had a MRI. News not getting better.

Arian Foster (knee, questionable) missed Texans practice on Friday and will be a game-day decision Sunday against the Dolphins.

We're becoming more and more concerned with Foster's availability. Per beat writer John McClain, coach Gary Kubiak "said he's optimistic" about Foster's Week 1 status, but "didn't sound real encouraging." Foster came down with a sore knee during the end of Thursday's practice. The Texans were concerned enough to give him an MRI. While they insist the exam came back clean, Foster didn't take the field on Friday and looks questionable at best for Week 1. Ben Tate would be a 25-touch candidate if Foster were to be inactive.

It also makes me happy that I went Ray Rice #1, and picked up Ben Tate in the 9th round. My plan is looking good so far.

Even if A.Foster plays, he is already hurting before the season again. Favoring a knee can spell other injuries, like to his hammy again.

My opponent this week has Arian. Really good news for me. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Foster doesn't even play, I'm sure Kubiak knows that he can beat the horrible Dolphins w/o his star RB. This game should be out of reach by half time. Even if Foster plays, I bet Tate gets more carries on Sunday.
