NEW YORK - The National Hockey League announced that, as a result of four additional Carolina Hurricanes Players entering the NHL's COVID Protocols earlier today, the team's game tonight against the Minnesota Wild will be postponed. I agree the NHL should cut its losses and shut things down for a short period of time instead of risking the health and safety of its players and staff around the league with the widespread cases of COVID forcing games to be postponed.

The NHL has temporarily postponed cross-border games through Dec. 23 and has also shut down six teams as COVID-19 continues to spread across the league.
