Yet another comeback win for Panthers. They were first team in 36 years to win back to back games trailing by 3 goals when they beat Buffalo the other night.

Leafs came from 3 behind last night, but lost the shootout vs Wild.

Canucks fire GM Jim Benning on same night as coaching change

The Vancouver Canucks have fired general manager Jim Benning, completing a franchise house-cleaning on Sunday night, Sportsnet can confirm.
The move came after Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Bruce Boudreau had been hired as coach to replace the fired Travis Green.
No replacement for Benning has been announced.

Flyers fire head coach Alain Vigneault amid eight-game losing streak

            Mike Yeo named interim coach

Flyers host the Colorado Avalanche tonight. Might see some goals in this game. Colorado is having health issues with goalies. Will start the rookie from Finland in this game, Justus Annunen.

Flyers expected to start Martin Jones in net

Senators turning it around a little bit since Tkachuk became captain. They're on a mini 2 game win streak beating Carolina and Colorado. Tkachuk scored the game winner in in the Avalanche match. Tkachuk on a 3 game point streak. He's turned his game up a notch since being named captain.

Let's see how Ottawa does against New Jersey tonight, and whether Tkachuk extends his game points streak.

LOL, I get Vigneault being fired, but Yeo is worse than him.

STL Blues will play one skater short tonight due to cap reasons. After playing short for the one game required, they'll be able to use the emergency rule to call up a player for Thursday's game at Detroit

Only had 10 forwards, due to WuFlu, injuries, and cap. Also backup goalie Husso got injured in 3rd period. Can’t use Joel Hofer for cap reasons. Blues continue to roll with the punches though.

That was mighty effort to beat Florida under those circumstances. Overtime game, again.

Tonight the Colorado Avalanche get Darcy Kuemper back in nets, hope he is not being rushed into playing.

The Arizona Coyotes appear to be running the risk of losing access to their arena even sooner than expected, sources confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday.
The news was first reported by The Athletic, which says that the City of Glendale will lock the Coyotes out of Gila River Arena if the club does not pay its delinquent tax bills and unpaid arena charges by Dec. 20.

Canucks now 2-0 under new coach. JT Miller 7 points in last 5 games. Next hosting Jets Friday. Should be a great game.

During a game against the New York Islanders on Thursday, forward Trenin checked Sebastian Aho hard into the boards, which for obvious reasons didn’t sit well with Chara. The duo dropped the mitts and went at it in the first period, but Trenin came out of the fight with his face a bloody mess.

Not confirmed yet, but if Detroit starts goalie Alex Nedeljkovic tonight at Colorado, expect a lot of goals. His save percentages in his past 3 games are .870, .875 and .833 so maybe they give Greiss a start instead.

Despite having not yet announced where they'll play next season, and after some embarrassing lapses in payments to the city of Glendale and the state of Arizona, Bettman said "there's no issue" with the Arizona Coyotes and that the team is not a threat to relocate.
"[Owner] Alex Meruelo is committed to Arizona and is working on a plan for a new arena, which is probably what's agitating the city of Glendale," NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said Friday after the second day of the NHL's board of governors meetings.

Every game he has played in Pittsburgh in the more recent years, he didn't allow more than two goals (excluding 2 games in the early years of his career when he allowed 6 goals in those two games). I don't know if Anaheim will win the game, but doubt there will be much scoring.
