TB great at screens and deflecting puck, seems like the only way to beat either of these goalies. Montreal's getting their chances, hopefully they can get more to go in during game 2.

ESPN announced broadcasting team for NHL and it oddly does not include Gary Thorne.

Montreal must play their game perfectly and get lucky, not out of the realm of possibility.

The Habs are overmatched I'm afraid. They'll still come out and probably play their best game in game 3 but I think Tampa Bay has too much for them and is the much better team. It was a great run for the Habs but they're in trouble now and pretty much have to take the next two at home like stated above.

Montreal better figure this out quick, or it will be over in 4.

I was afraid this might happen. Montreal had a great run but they are clearly overmatched in this series. I don't know if they're playing like a team that's just happy to be there but one thing is clear and that is Tampa Bay is the much better team. I wish Colorado beat Vegas because I think they would have beat Montreal and then given Tampa Bay a better run for their money in the Stanley Cup Final. Now it's just going to be a sweep and that sucks for hockey fans.

That's only because the closest team they have is Orlando. Of course this year the Toronto Raptors were adopted by Tampa since they played their home games there due to the pandemic. Tampa Bay almost did the trifecta in 2020 though with the Rays making the World Series. It's getting old to see the Lightning win back to back like this but they're good and you have to tip your cap to them.

Blue Jackets goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks died Sunday night as a result of what the organization described as a “tragic accident,” in which he suffered an apparent head injury after a fall. He was 24.
In a statement Monday morning, the Blue Jackets said medical personnel was called immediately to attend to Kivlenieks, but he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Great game by the Habs tonight. At least there is one more game this season and this Stanley Cup Final wasn't a sweep.

Hab$ have momentum now. Sets up well for a game 5 steal, 'Ok, they got their win. Now Tampa takes it at home.'
