A couple guys in my own league I started have bitched about the waiver period.

I am still somewhat of a neophyte when it comes to fantasy, so I just copied most of what LT did with this league.

Example: guy dropped ekeler on Friday but wants him back since gordon is out. But he isn’t off waiver until 10/24.

Guy’s calling me a tyrant.

What are your thoughts? Thanks.

The way I am reading ESPN it looks like the default waiver period is only 24 hrs....

The guy is trying to make his mistake your problem. The reason he dropped Ekeler on Friday was to prevent someone else from picking him up for this week. He knew what he was doing and it backfired on him, now he wants you to bail him out.

Nothing he could do, those are standard rules. Guys just dropped in current week must go through waivers to be picked up, guys has no case.

Zeke has been a huge disappointment this season

In another league, I had the #1 pick as well and since i already drafted Gurley in this league, I convinced myself that Elliot was going to have a huge year and I did not want the same player on multiple teams. Needless to say, that was a huge mistake and it has already cost me 2 wins not even halfway through the season.

This week was the first craptacular week. The loss of Frederick and the fact they have no other weapons is a huge reason why Zeke isn't breaking out more. Hopefully the Cooper acquisition changes things up cuz now the Defenses can't stack 8 in the box every down.

I'd also like to see Zeke lined up as a wideout more. He's their best receiver even with the Cooper acquisition. They use him in the flat and screens mostly and it fools nobody.
