I got offered davonte freeman for aj green then for landry instead of green

I offered still for freeman then dede for freeman
Offered landry for freeman and marvin jones. ( thought this was most fair trade)

I might not put up points but my defense keeps me in the game. Lost to philly by .5 and stealthy by 10 when brady scored 9 points

Should be at a minimum 3-2 with a little luck 4-1 but I am what my record states at 2-3 things can change quickly as we all know

ok so due to the scheduling, you actually had a chance in a few games

the fact remains that you are bottom 3 in scoring...if you had many other's schedules you would probably be 1-4 or 0-5

if I had your schedule, id probably be 4-1 or 5-0 but hey, that's the way the stars aligned

like I said, you should be over the moon at 2-3 and still have a faint heartbeat

question for the members of the league, is it fair for a commissioner to change waiver rules midseason without a league vote? It just so happens his team is below .500 and the weekly rolling list based on standings benefits him. It also just so happens that his current waiver spot is #10. My take is any rule change after the draft needs to be put to a league vote and a commissioner should not have carte blanche to do whatever they please.

Matty I will own this as it was done by me. I was asked about it last night by 3 teams who have been with us since year 1. I honesly didn’t even notice it didn’t reset. I changed it, received a text from peavy and I guess since I didn’t reply in the one minute time frame he set, he ran to the board here. Didn’t respond in the league chat, just here. He then went on to say I did if as it benefited me. As I said I’ve never played in a league that it didn’t reset and it’s always been the rule. A league vote should be in order so I changed it back. did not mean to insinuate you were cheating but was taken aback by the email I received with the notice of a league waiver rule change. Thank you for changing the rule back. If the league votes to change that rule, I'm fine with it. As it stands, the waiver list is incorrect now...all I remember was that I was #2(was saving for someone worthwhile) and I did notice that DJ Dalamar was #1 and ahead of me.

I do recall that in previous years it resetting on a weekly basis.

However you can’t change in the middle of the season because that’s unfair to teams that have been holding their claim waiting on a special player.

I have serious doubts that anyone was waiting for a “special” player. Non the less it’s changed and an vote should have been in place.

You may be right...but there are a couple of players once a year that come available that can win a season that come from FA (IE, I got David Johnson before his hot run to win a league a couple of years ago).

The bigger impact is to teams not making any moves until waivers are run. They get slim pickings after the wire run. Whereas some other team could Change a player, a kicker and a Def upgrading 3 spots (while the other team gets nothing). Yes, these a small differences, but we all know you can lose a game by 0.1 when someone takes a knee on MNF.

My earlier point is that I wanted GB Def (against SF) but wasn’t going to waste my position. So after waivers were run I got stuck with Miami. Not a big change but could be the difference in a game. So I may lose this week because I opted NOT to use my waiver pick trying to hold out for the next David Johnson.

Ok. I get it now. If you do not use a waiver turn and you pick someone up after the fact you don’t lose your turn.

Honestly didn’t know that either.

Like I told Jake. I don’t mind taking shots from guys who are mostly assholes who I’d never associate with in real life. Just surprised from the source it came from. We are all good and I understand the process and how it was perceived.

it becomes free agency after waivers in most leagues fwiw. i play in a league in which waivers does not reset weekly and i started off slow. i just made my first pickup from waivers last week (yeldon). i was waiting for waivers to be over and using FA to pick up others before that to save my spot
