Mike Trout is the first player in Angels history with 30 H and 30 BB in a month.

He's the 3rd player in the Wild Card Era (since 1994) with at least 30 H, 30 BB and 5 stolen bases in a month (Bobby Abreu in May 2005 and Barry Bonds in May 1998).

Braves pitcher Luiz Gohara was reinstated from the bereavement list on Sunday. He had been away visiting his ailing mother in Brazil. She is recovering from heart surgery.

Gohara's father died in December, then Gohara missed much of spring training because groin and ankle injuries, so it's been a rough time.

Gohara was originally supposed to be back in Atlanta a couple of days ago but couldn't get back because of the gas shortages in Brazil. He is expected to be used in a relief role for the time being.

The Mariners scored twice in the eighth to take a 2-1 lead, with Dee Gordon hitting a little blooper over a drawn-in infield for the go-ahead RBI. Final score M's 2 TB 1.

The Mariners are 17-9 in one-run games.
