A lot.

I made a run at it 2 or 3 years ago getting as high as in the teens and finishing in the 30s and got jack sht. And I think it was over 100k people playing.

Yeah .. Just keeping up weekly should put you in top 1/2 then a little knowledge/studying could get in the top 1/4. Then it's luck. That year I was very lucky until the last couple weeks.

Ive never played fantasy anything but thought about fining it a try at fanduel or whatever. So I have a question...

in a league like ours or any $$ lineups is a smart to try and go outside the box and try and be different or just play the strongest guys u think for each race. I know playing strongest makes sense but just in case ur outside the box play or 2 does well wouldn't that seperate u? Hope that makes sense the way I tried to explain it. Thanks

I play at Dk as do a few others here , you have to think out of the box

Like Shaun said outside the box, especially tournaments with thousands of people.
Once and a while when I checked afterward to see what the winner had it was VERY outside the box. Using all bottom rung guys. It was a restrictor plate race but even in the other races you need those sleepers. The only way to separate from the field is to have guys not many else have who do good. If you pick logically I think you'll find that you cash at a much higher percentage but you're not going to get that big score of 1st-3rd.

quick question on fox scoring.... says your awarded pts for each position a driver earns over his "qualifying position", and notes that qualifying position isn't the same as "starting position."

anyone know how that applies to the 500, as starting positions have obviously changed alot except for the top 2. Is Fox scoring off the realigned grid post duels, or the original qualifying speeds?

also, I saw where pts are awarded for going forward, but didn't pay enough attn to see if you lose pts via deduction if your driver finishes worse than he qualified.....

any info on these subjects would b e appreciagted
