edit: just watched the wreck, and have to wonder why he wasn't lifting with all that was happening in front of him.... barrelling through didn't seem to be the right move at all..... had something broke in his car?

my problem with teh 43 is I think he was coming through hot, like a lot of younger drivers seem to do these days, as if they may pic up a spot or two by barrelling through the mayhem when they can barely see what the hell is going on..... i've seen a lot of drivers refuse to life and wind up int he mess, even some experienced drivers.....

Wish NASCAR would stop this crap , it basically cuts out any fuel mileage races

yeah I said same thing when I saw this a few days ago I said it makes 0 sense. Now the coke 600 is worth morenatogg points than any other race on the schedule! Why? Short tracks don't get less for less miles and laps than 500 miles do. Or even 400 milers. Makes them look terrible. Changing the rules 13 days before the race and in the middle of the season. Cautions in between these stages are rediculous as it is. We don't need even more of them and commercials in a 600 mile race. The main point is nobody changes a championship format mid season or a race format 13 days out

I agree mike , charlotte has a tendency to have long runs with tire fall off not really a factor , so this boils down to a 100 lap race

yeah him making the chase is about as likely as me winning my pre-season prop bet on him getting Over 1 win this year. A push at 1 would feel like a miracle at this point. Thought that was a good play then, and now well....Wish I could opt out at a 50% loss
