Rockies comeback against Indians in 9th. Then win in 12 innings. I wouldn't want to run into this team in the playoffs if they get hot.

I can see the Royals trying hard to keep him since he's the face of the franchise. Unless the bidding war in free agency gets too crazy.

Cody Bellinger hit his 33rd HR of the season, now 2 shy of tying Mike Piazza for the most by a rookie in Dodgers history.

Leury Garcia faked out the ump and the instant replay.
Pitch bounced well in front of his foot and obviously didn’t hit him. Garcia started hopping around as if he were hit (after the pitch was already past him). Ump says take your base.
                Astros challenge.
                They don’t overturn it. Wow.

Umps are getting really bad, Diaz (Sea vs LAA) threw strike three to get out of the top 9th ump stepped up like he was going to punch him out then didn't (probably after remembering how the game was supposed to go) called a clear strike a ball to keep the inning going.

Runs allowed by the Royals' bullpen by game since July 29: 4-0-1-3-3-2-2-1-0-4-4-5-6.
                        That's 35 runs, 31 earned, over 43 2/3 innings for a 6.49 ERA.

In the four-game sweep against St. Louis, the KC relievers allowed 19 runs, 17 earned, in 16 innings for a 9.56 ERA.

Cain looks like Ty Cobb two nights ago, then tonight he looks like a shit bum.
Love Lo-Cain, but he's going to be the first to go.

Mother fukker, I knew, well I didn't know, but I had a gut feeling the Pads were going to win this game, I could have gotten +260 and didn't pull the trigger.

                                    Damn it.

The Dodgers entered the night with the best record in baseball when leading entering the 7th inning (65-3). Despite their loss, they are still on track for a franchise record amount of wins.

Yeah the crying here by the cub fans that don't know how to deal with the aftermath of winning a World Series and think it would happen easily every year for awhile.... would be so entertaining

                                                announcers were dumbfounded

                                                weird situation though

pitch bounced and got away from the catcher

so if it got overturned it would've been runner on third, 1 out (runner represented tying run)

since it didn't, it became first and second, 1 out (dead ball since they claim it hit the batter)

the probability of tying up the game and/or taking the lead with third and 1 out is over 60%

probably of tying game and/or taking lead with first and second and 1 out is like 40%
