Due to the typical helping hand of government, Missouri has passed a bill aimed at daily fantasy sports BUT taxes ALL fantasy sports providers (including season long league providers). The new bill requires a yearly $10,000 registration or 10% of entry fees of the year. On top of this there is a 11.5% tax on gross receipts! The operators have been able to operate until October 1 and after that they had to obtain a license. Needless to say, most (if not all) season long providers have left Missouri and the only to remaining fantasy sports providers are Fan Duel and Draft Kings which are only daily. I have a league this year with Yahoo which I think I am grandfathered in but after that I can't find a single provider. Anybody know of any season prize leagues that remain in Missouri?
