It looks like everyone in this league understands that "2 for 1" is seldom a good idea in any fantasy baseball format -> there are hundreds of players just below the threshold of greatness - many available to pick up for free, and just like in real sports general management it's that one great player that makes the difference. Lots of guys are almost as good as LeBron James, but you'd be a fool to trade all of them for him.

I remember, years ago, the first time I played fantasy baseball on the internet, and I was able to make my team much better using "the ol' 2 for 1" a few times. And I thought "WOW, this is easy - I'm going to be making money at this for years". Unfortunately, guys wised up pretty quickly.

Pretty sure Jake isn't updating anymore, think there's only about 7 or 8 people still trying. Sucks, was really hoping this league would stay active as I've never been in a baseball league like this that's stayed active. That's why I only really play Diamond Mind Baseball leagues

On another note, looks like I'm going to be at around 350 with 6 starters going tomorrow. Has anyone went over 500 yet?

At 483 now, I'm at 477 with Kluber waiting on his W. Lost a lot of points with him because of a rain delay.

nice game burrito. i am in 3 leagues and having issues. in my cbs league i have most points scored but i'm 3 -6. i have had 300 points more scored on me than anyone else. I thought i had a chance in this league but paschal has the team!

Only pitcher I have going twice this week is Archer. We'll see, may actually need to stream a pitcher or two for once.

Anyone want Roark, Pomeranz, Scherzer, or Archer? With Taillon now I have too many SPs. Though all are too good to drop. May just not bother with a catcher as I'm pretty sure I've only gotten about 5 points out of that spot in the last month anyway.

Correction. 17 points total in the last 5 weeks, 12 of which came last week.

Astro....my starters were less than stellar yesterday, but at least I stayed away from the negatives. Today is another big day as I have 3 more starters going. Hopefully I can but a little distance between us as your pitching still has to play.

I've pretty much given up on this week. No point in trashing my team trying to stream pitchers. May just add a guy or two that'll be helpful in 2 weeks. Loss doesn't really hurt me and I get Jake next week so I could add some people that may be a couple weeks away from playing and still be good.

Haha I didn't even set my lineup for Sunday because I knew there wasn't a point (though I usually set my lineup for the week on Monday, and just assumed I had set it for Sunday all ready)
