Why is everyone saying this??? Prisoner of the moment syndrome. Neither starting pitcher made it 6 innings, there were disastrous managerial moves, sloppy defense, an error and a wild pitch that lead to 2 runs. It was exciting when Davis smashed that 2-Run homer to tie it in the 8th, but to me this game has no comparison to several games in the '91 and '01 World Series.
