I've thought he should be thinking about giving up that prime seat for a couple of years, as he has seemed disinterested in really racing hard for ages to me.

It think the bad leg injury the year before might have as much to do with it as the Kevin Ward accident. He never got back anywhere near competitiveness even before the Ward death.

I hope he gets past all the issues though. He was going to be one the major power brokers and team owners for the future and is important to the sport as a whole I think.
