1st Time fantasy baseball player--need a little info
I have never played any fantasy sports, but I thought I try. Any help would be appreciated.

I really just want to play for free. What are some of the best sites for info, tools, and to play. my budget is about $40 a month.

    thanks, joey

good thread. I was tinkering with the idea myself.

hopefully someone can explain the 5X5 Rotteserie scoring system and how its evenly distributed among
      BA
      RBI
      RUNS
      HR's
      etc....

i wonder if you get penalized or points subtracted for strikeouts and grounding into double plays?

Draft Day is what I always use. I play NHL and MLB. Lots of games on Draft Day. I have been playing on the same 50 bucks for almost a year. Withdrew money twice, still have 40 bucks in the account.

Espn and yahoo have free leagues. Not going to win anything but you can get your feet wet if you like. I prefer ESPN because the software look and the amount of info they have. But yahoo isn't too far behind.

                good luck and have fun.
