Actually, oddly enough, he gets more guaranteed money if he gets seriously hurt. They can't release him and get out of the extra $10 mil for 2016 if he gets seriously hurt. So it's the Bears that don't want him to get hurt. Cutler gonna get paid no matter what, and possibly more if he gets hurt.

Check this out. Bears would be double screwed if Cutler gets seriously hurt.

Cutler’s $16 million in salary in 2016 is currently guaranteed for injury only, meaning if he is hurt and cannot pass a physical when released, he would also collect an additional $16 million. There is a further catch to this guarantee, however. On the third day of the 2015 League Year, which should be March 12th, $10 million of that $16 million becomes fully guaranteed, protecting his salary from any form of release. The remaining $6 million becomes fully guaranteed in 2016.

I think Trestman is a good coach, I think that the Bears have some bad eggs in the locker room Marshall and Cutler probably a few others. Some of these players need to go so that Trestman can coach the team more effectively.

Not sure what you have to go on to call him a good coach. He might work as an OC somewhere in the right situation, but he's not HC material.
