Gronk's back surgery and Hernandez's legal issues might open the door for him.

If the knee is sound he'll catch double digit TD's.

I have a feeling Hernandez finds a way out of this mess and ends up starting opening week

Hernandez will be susupened at the least. Gronks body is falling apart. Pats may try to sign a TE if so

i honestly dont think gronk is going to be as bad as everyone makes out to be, could be great value if you can get him in late rounds might be worth a shot

ESPN will be even more unwatchable than it already is if Tebow gets time at TE. Here's hoping Ballard shows something.

Maybe, don't overdraft him though.

Based off my limited medical knowledge the surgery he had in college was the most troublesome and he came out ok.

Im in the same boat when it comes to medical knowledge I mean look what AP did last year I though he would suck, but I still hope that Gronk can be him old self cause with no Wes, Hernandez thing going on the pats might have to revamp their whole offense

Aaron Hernandez arrested and then cut by the Pats. Jake Ballard will have some value next season.

Yet you opened thread and replied.
Wouldn't shock me if Pats brought in Clark or Schianoe for a look for camp.

Clark could fit well or Dave Thomas, lean on Thomas as he is younger and been with Pats before.

Brady, much like Manning, could help Clark rack up some nice stats.

I agree he would be a good addition for depth purposes at the very minimum.

heard an interesting little story the other night from my buddy who is a boston area police officer...he said he was on duty and working as an escort for jake ballard, they had to bring him to mass general to get "an absurd amount of fluid drained from his knee" ...my buddy joked with him saying he was going to put up big numbers from the tight end spot, ballard said he hoped his knee could hold up and that tebow may actually get more time at TE than people think...obviously take all this for what its worth, but I found it pretty funny if nothing else

I really wonder what they are going to do with Tebow, they said he is not going to be a TE so to me he is just a distraction, not that Hernandez isnt

Tebow may play an H back role at times but lining up in slot or out wide will take more than a single training camp for him to get comfortable with.

I hope they can turn him into something cause he just isn't a NFL qb. He has potential to do something productive though

Brady and Mallett would both have to be hit by a bus on game day for Tebow to take snaps at qb for Pats.
