At least they are paying Trout peanuts this season to subsidize those awful contracts for this year and until Trout is arbitration eligible. That is the only silver lining for the Angels.

opie does have a point. this year i a fail even if he hits .360 in september. not cool to pay that kind of money and have him him below .250 but as I said, he might turn it around from here on and make the money worth it for the next seasons. He still has great potential. Some guy that was analyzing Hamilton even before his flop, said that physically there is nothing wrong with him, the speed, the power they are all there, it's all down to mental state and/or approach.
