by Nando Di Fino | Senior Fantasy Writer Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton, mired in a season-long slump that has produced career-worst numbers, (.226 average, 16 home runs, .702 OPS), has quietly gone on a nice run since Albert Pujols went down with a foot injury.
In the five games since the team lost Pujols, Hamilton has hit .300 with two home runs, eight RBI, and a 1.041 OPS. It may just be Hamilton finally breaking out of his funk, but it could be the lineup shift benefitting the 32-year-old.
cause and effect or just randomness?

Yeah, don't see him hitting .250 by season end either. 2013 a write off for him and the Angels.

I think he could get to .250. Bats close to .300 rest of way?

He just can't quite put it all together. Small glimpses of success. Frustrating season to have.

Josh caps off a stellar series with his third consecutive 0-4 performance. All the way down to .217 now.
All this for only $17,400,00.00 per year.

I would be tempted to bet that he doesn't get to .250. I hope he stays above .220 though, but unfortunately even that is a challenge for him right now.

Yeah, they are screwed. Could lump in the Blue Jays and Nats in there also, the 3 most disappointing teams in baseball this year.
