The Alfred Morris Won/Lost me my Championship Thread

Was up by 30 points going into tonight with the only player left on either team being Alfred Morris. Drops 39 points and costs me my $500 pot.

i dominated daily fantasy today with him, a rodgers, antonio brown, spiller, witten, and tenn defense.

took tenn because cheap, all i could afford

afraid to see how much i won, since i had all those on all the fantasy sites

I agree. Fantasy football should not be played in week 17, where only a couple of teams have something to play for. Fantasy in week 17 is a joke, especially for a Championship Game.

I drafted him in both of my leagues. Helped me win one and get 3rd in the other, plus I'll get to keep him as a 10th rounder next season.

It was an ESPN league so it was a two week championship. Built a 26 point lead after last week and extended it to 30 points before last nights game all to see it come crashing down haha

Picked this guy up in one of my leagues and I sat him for Jamaal Charles during the 1st rd of playoffs. Charles laid an egg against the Raiders and it was part of the reason why I lost.

that is tough man, painful way to lose it. i do agree with others though, week 17 should be a throw-away week in ffb...they sit guys like ray rice and defenses just kind of go in the tank half the time

Morris is a beast I picked him up early in the year and then traded him for CJ spiller. It didn't really pan out

Alfred Morris was a non factor in the Championship game, but he was traded for Michael Vick in like Week 2 of the season in my league.

I've been trying to get our League to change it to Week 16 championship for 2 years now.

However this year not to many week 17 games were filled with backups but it has happen many times in past seasons

I remember before the last week of the pre-season...I'm in a 31 player dynasty/keeper league. I was staring at Evan Royster and Alfred Morris both in the free agent pool of my league. This league is VERY deep, highest free agent point scorers available in my league are all defenses (to give you a feel for how deep it is)....I was staring at Royster and Morris and debating which one to add after pre-season Week 3 game. I went with Royster and 4 hours later someone added Morris, the rest is history.

I don't have the best team in that league but I did manage to win that league this year, but having Morris in the mix with my guys now would have been amazing.

That move is my biggest fantasy regret of the year out of all 5 of my leagues. I just missed on Morris and he could have set me up for the next 5-7 years to dominate this league.

having morris in a keeper is like stealing...you likely got him at such a late pick/free agent, and you get to keep a top producing back next year for peanuts while you can stock your team in the early rounds...great move

Morris should be a first round pick in next year's fantasy draft. Definitely a top 10 player.
