If your fighting for a playoff spot I don't recommend having him on your squad. Bulls are fine without him and he might not be back till with like 2-3 weeks left in regular season maybe less as he will want to be 100% for the playoffs. And even when he comes back he will likely be playing light minutes.

This is my fear, I think he will be all about the playoffs but not care about regular season as long as Bulls are firmly in the playoffs.

acl tears usually knock a player out an entire season. even if the bulls make the playoffs i'd be surprised if he returned.

Hoops involves more cutting than other sports. Acl's can be tricky.

I think Tibedau will need to sit down with Rose, GM, medical staff and figure out what is best for the Bulls and Rose long term. They aren't beating Miami this season so I'd bring him along on the side of caution.
