NFL fantasy Playoffs question

playing in a 10 man league. non ppr..

there are two divisions, east & west, 5 on each side. My question to you guys:


Do you guys take top 2 of each division for plays offs or just top 4 records outta the 10 players? I was under the impression it was top 2 of each side thus the 2 divisions. but League manager says its top 4 overall, which lead me to question why have 2 divisions in the first place.

Is this a rule that always gets modified from league to league or is there a set in stone rule like the trade deadline.?

it is a rule that gets modified..not many rules are set in stone in fantasy (trade deadline is not even set in stone) but i do find it very odd that your manager would bother to have 2 divisions if they dont take the top divisional teams

Should be two division winners and next two best records. Thats the usual set-up.

Should be each division winner is guaranteed playoffs. At least that's how my league plays. If not, what is the point of the divisions?

in ten team league i prefer 4 teams , top 2 get a bye and playoffs start in week 14

12 team leagues
top 2 get a bye, other 4 play week 14
finals in week 16

you could vote on it and have 6 teams in like a 12 teamer
